SnowflakeSnowflake

Validate event data where it lives — your Snowflake warehouse.

suky connects read-only to your Snowflake warehouse to discover events, compute quality metrics, and validate contracts. No event payloads are ingested — every query runs in your environment via read-only SQL.

Capabilities

What you get with the Snowflake integration

Event discovery

Auto-discover events with CDP-aware parsing for Segment, RudderStack, and Snowplow table structures. Extract column metadata, sample values, and row counts.

Quality metrics

Compute freshness, volume baselines, null rates, and schema compliance via read-only SQL. Incremental queries use high-water marks to avoid reprocessing.

Contract validation

Continuously validate events against active contracts. Detect freshness breaches, volume anomalies, property type mismatches, and missing required fields.

Zero data ingestion

Your raw event stream never leaves your warehouse. suky runs read-only SQL and stores computed metrics — counts, rates, violation records — plus a small sample of values used for discovery. It never ingests your event payloads.

Setup

How to connect Snowflake

Enter your Snowflake account identifier, warehouse, database, and schema.

2

Authenticate with key-pair authentication — a read-only service account with an RSA key.

3

suky runs discovery to find event tables and extract schema metadata.

4

Review discovered events and activate them as monitored contracts.
